What counts as a request?

Every HTTP request hitting one of your deployed sites — page renders, API hits, asset requests served from the edge. Cached responses count once per cache miss.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

We don't hard-cap you. You'll get an email at 80% and 100% of your monthly allowance and we'll bill overage at $0.40 per million extra requests. No surprise bills — we cap auto-overage at 2x your plan unless you raise the ceiling.

Can I bring my own infrastructure?

Yes. Self-hosted mode is free — point the dashboard at any server you can SSH into. See the self-hosted pricing on bext.dev for licensed support tiers.

Do you charge for build minutes?

No. Builds run on shared CI runners and we don't meter compile time on any tier. Heavy or long-running builds may queue during peak hours on Hobby.

Can I switch tiers mid-cycle?

Anytime. Upgrades are pro-rated to the day. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle so you don't lose paid-for capacity.

Do you offer student or open-source discounts?

Yes — verified students get Pro free, and approved open-source maintainers get Team at 50%. Email hello@bext.dev with proof.
