Frequently asked questions
How do I pay?
By card through Stripe, from Subscription and billing in the dashboard. Invoices excluding and including VAT are available there and in the Stripe portal. Your first site stays free, with no card needed.
Why per site and not per request?
Because a WordPress site, a shop and a PRISM site do not need the same resources or the same care. You pay a clear amount per site, with no request or bandwidth meter. A fair-use rule will apply to abnormal usage.
What counts as an included site?
Pro includes one WordPress or PRISM site and Agency five. A PrestaShop shop is always billed at its own rate, because it runs on a dedicated PHP runtime and needs more resources.
Is there a limit on the number of sites?
An account can create up to 8 managed sites. Agencies can ask for a higher limit.
Can I change plan or stop an option?
Yes. Change plan, server, options or monthly/yearly billing from Subscription and billing at any time: Stripe prorates the difference (a switch between monthly and yearly starts a new period, billed right away minus the unused part). Stop the subscription from the Stripe portal; it runs until the end of the paid period.
Where are the backups stored?
With the daily-backup option, each site is backed up every day to Cloudflare R2 in Western Europe, in a private store separate from the server. Every backup is kept 30 days and can be downloaded from the site page.
Where are the dedicated servers hosted?
At OVHcloud, in its French datacentres (Gravelines, Roubaix or Strasbourg). The server is ordered in our OVH account and reserved for you: no other customer runs on it.
Can I bring my own server?
Yes. Connect your own bext server to the dashboard. The bext engine is source-available under BSL 1.1 and can be self-hosted.
